So Soph, What's Happening?

As I've been very quiet of late I'd thought I'd update pockets of information to you all to show you that I am not dead. So, what's going on?

 1. I'm considering "The Big Move" towards London (scary stuff)

 2. I'm currently Forum Moderator for the Adobe Generation Animation Course. If you've not heard of it and you're interested in animation it's definitely worth checking out. An online course that's once a week and a piece of homework for the following week and it's not just animation either. Game Design and Photo Imaging and a nice little certificate at the end too.

 3. I've been asked to be story artist for another independent project currently known as "The Invention Series" three five minute films all about the invention of a "button" but they'll be more on that to follow up next time. 

 And last but not least, I'm drawing again! Little by little as it were. This is my attempt at a profile picture for the adobe site, but as it wont let me put up a new one I'd thought I'd share. Enjoy!

Not Quite Casper The Friendly Ghost...

Hello guys and girls! I hope you're all well. I wanted to write to wave my hand to say I'm still here, just a busy bee. Currently I'm working on a few different ideas for a play/short film due to a brief we were given last week at creative writing by an ex media practice student and it's set my pants on fire with creativity. It has to be based around an invention, and so name for my invention is currently a "psi-transducer" and if all goes well I'll let you know more about it soon! Also, on another note I'm working at current as a script editor for a marketing film being made for the business "Nazcar Networks" with my flatmate Jamie Iles. Life sure does keep me busy! Here's a question for you: What books/films/plays remind you of Christmas? Mine is the Muppets Christmas Carol, and the BFG animated film due to having both films recorded on VCR. Speak to you soon!

Hypnotic And Rather Spooky....

Free Writing 1# Trouble at work. I had to help. Only four hours. It's just a job.  I needed to be more presentable. Trouble with my appearance.  Why is my hair blue? Where have you all gone? Help.  I'm lost, you're lost. Blue.  Photographers everywhere why? Free Writing 2# If I could climb, I think I can see the star. So bright above me. Close but almost out of reach. I need the star. It calls for a wish. I need to find some height, a ladder, chair, there's nothing but the dark, looming. I hear voices. Dangerous voices. I need the star to survive. So I can go home. I hope I can go home...the star is dying out - I'm just out of reach now, reach! then gone.
